Yard Waste Options

  • Drop off at City Solid Waste and Recycling Site during normal open hours year-round
  • Please ask attendant for direction on where to place materials
  • Seasonal curbside pick-up offered on limited dates in the spring and fall
    • Dates for pick-up will be announced on our website, Facebook page and a press release.
    • Leaves and grass must be bagged in compostable bags not to exceed 50 pounds
    • Brush must be bundled in lengths of 4 feet or less
    • Materials must be placed at the curb no later than 7 am the day of the pickup and no sooner than 1 day before
    • No materials will be collected in the alley

  • Brush
  • Logs
  • Christmas trees (remove all lights, ornaments, ribbon, and tinsel - no artificial trees)
  • Pallets

Unacceptable Yard Waste Materials

  • Stumps
  • Painted, stained, or treated wood

Wood & Brush Burning

The City operates a licensed wood burning facility at the solid waste and recycling site. Only clean wood, brush, and pallets may be dropped off for burning.

Compost & Woodchips

Compost and wood chips are available for free to City residents while materials last at the solid waste and recycling site. Residents are responsible for loading their own materials at their own risk.
