Joleen Sterk is an adventurous Director at the Menomonie Public Library, driven by her love for nature and dedication to community engagement. Armed with a Master in Library and Information Science from UW Madison and a Bachelor in English/Creative Writing from UW Stevens Point, Joleen brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and creative flair to her role. Her previous experiences as a Youth Services Librarian, water aerobics instructor, playgroup facilitator, and various other roles reflect her versatile skill set and hands-on approach to human connection. Outside of her professional endeavors, Joleen's passion for nature leads her to spend as much time as possible in or around water, embodying her love for the outdoors. With a keen eye for storytelling and a knack for fostering community connections, Joleen is committed to enriching the lives of others through the power of literature and the beauty of nature.
