Home Sweet Menomonie is a City of Menomonie Program in partnership with the Community Foundation of Dunn County.  Home Sweet Menomonie combines public, employer, and private contributions to create a no-interest, partially forgivable loan for down payment assistance to employees of participating businesses who wish to own homes within the City of Menomonie.

• The Home Sweet Menomonie loan program can provide you up to $10,000, amortized over a flexible schedule (likely 10 years)
• It is a zero-interest repayable loan
• The last year’s scheduled payment may be forgiven if you have made documented improvements to your home such as physical repairs or upgrades.
• Loans are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 
• To apply, eligible employees complete and submit a Home Sweet Menomonie application with the City of Menomonie.
• The only criteria is that you are an employee at a participating employer and be in the process of buying a house.
