UMR continues to improve its digital experience to ensure members can easily access their benefits — at home or on the go.
You may have seen that the recently updated and enhanced umr.com website included a feature to translate the entire site to either Spanish or Mandarin Chinese. Effective July 12, the UMR app now also supports translation to these two languages.
Now, when a member has their preferred language in their device settings as either Spanish or Mandarin Chinese, the UMR app will automatically be translated to their preferred language. This means your members can use their preferred language on both umr.com and the UMR app.
Note: There is not a setting within the UMR app itself that enables it to be translated. This must be done in the device language settings.
Read My Mail
Users can now also access the Read My Mail feature in the Message Center of the mobile app. It allows users to users to access letters and to compose and reply to emails. Impacted users can also access MA-1099 information through Read My Mail.
